ZappRx Appoints Rich Kramer to VP of Commercial Operations to Lead Provider Sales and Foster Growth across the U.S. Health System Market

Boston, MA, November 14, 2017 – ZappRx, a healthcare technology company that reduces the administrative burden associated with prescribing specialty medications, today announced the appointment of Rich Kramer to Vice President of Commercial Operations. Within his new role, Kramer will report directly to Sandy DiCesare, Chief Operating Officer of ZappRx, and will lead ZappRx’s provider sales team as it continues implementing the platform into physician practices, health systems, and clinics across the United States.


Most recently, Kramer served as VP of Sales at Upfront Healthcare, an early-stage healthcare technology startup, where he led commercialization of the company’s product. Prior to Upfront, Kramer was Director of Sales at Orien Health, where he helped the company evolve its sales strategy from solely focusing on state and municipalities to selling into massive health systems and providers practices. Before Orien, Kramer served in multiple roles at PatientKeeper, where he single-handedly sold $60 million of the company’s services and brought into two of the largest health systems in the country as keystone clients.

Kramer will also determine the structure of the sales team and oversee its expansion as the platform continues to expand into new disease areas and treatments.
